Corridor Mode

Perfect Perspective

Corridor mode allows the camera to maximize video surveillance in narrow vertical situations. It allows you to monitor areas where you need a vertical frame vs. the traditional horizontal video frame. This comes in handy when you are trying to maximize video in narrow areas such as office hallways, retail aisles, tunnels, or stairways where you need high quality video in the desired field of view, but lower resolution on the sides.

Use Less Bandwidth and Storage

With Illustra’s Corridor Mode, you get the highest video quality in just the narrow, “portrait-size” area you desire. This eliminates the wasteful bandwidth and storage you would typically use recording the entire horizontal field of view.

Ideal Applications

Illustra’s Corridor Mode is supported in many cameras in our suite of IP cameras, and is useful in many applications, such as retail, offices, correctional facilities, stairways, narrow roadways, and more.
